Rosengarten Latemar
THE SKI AND HIKING REGIONS OF THE MOUNTAINS ROSENGARTEN AND LATEMAR
The Ski Center Latemar belongs to the Dolomiti Superski and is extended between the regions Trentino and South Tyrol. The ski resort lies between 1550m and 2500m above sea level.
The Ski Center Latemar is one of the most famous and most visited ski resorts of Italy. The ski resort is accessible from the three villages Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen. From there, you can enjoy 48 km of slopes and 18 ski and chair lifts. Some of the chair lifts are open also in summer for hikers and climbers.
The Latemar and the Rosengarten are the region of the fairy tale of King Laurin. The Ski Center Latemar is surrounded by the mountain Latemar, which peaks represent dolls, so tell the fairy tales. The Ski resort Carezza lies right in front of the Rosengarten. The panorama and the sunsets of this ski resort, which transform the Rosengarten in a red mountain, are indescribable and unforgettable.
In winter, the Latemar and the Rosengarten are the fairyland of the Dolomites, but also in summer, you can live unforgettable moments in the mountains. Numerous hiking trails of any level of difficulty pass along meadows, forests, until you reach the top of the mountains, where you can enjoy once more a spectacular view.
