Obereggen

The ski resort Obereggen (Ski Center Latemar) is located at a distance of 20 minutes from Bolzano and 10 minutes from the hotel Ganischgerhof.

The ski resort Obereggen offers different and perfectly prepared slopes. It has 48km of slopes of different levels of difficulty. 18 modern ski and chairlifts are situated in the ski resort. 115 snowmaking machines offer excellent slopes also in winter of not so much snow.

Choose among powder skiing or fast runs down the perfectly prepared slopes. For beginners, or for all those who want to improve their skiing, three ski and snowboard schools are available. Also ski, snowboard and sledge rentals are available in the ski resort.

There is always fun and change in the ski resort Obereggen. Spectacular events or the new snow park for snowboarders and free style skiers promise fun moments for everyone.

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7pm until 10pm you can go night skiing on the illuminated Oberholz slope.

Numerous lodges with comfortable restaurants and Après Ski offer good food and lots of fun.

In Obereggen you can do much more than only skiing. Hike through the wonder winter land, experience romantic moments and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains Schlern, Rosengarten, Latemar, Zanggen – Pala di Santa, Weißhorn – Corno Bianca, and the mountain chains Mendel, Adamello, Brenta and Ortler. The area around Deutschnofen offers also 100 km of cross country trails which pass along an idyllic landscape and typical South Tyrolean restaurants.

In addition, the toboggan and sledge runs in Deutschnofen and Obereggen are big fun for family and kids. The run in Obereggen is open three times a week also at night.
