The Pichler family, 4 brothers and all 125 employees form the Ganis Team
For over 50 years, the Pichler family has been a passionate host. Over the past decades, the small guesthouse with an attached farm has become the Hotel Ganischgerhof Mountain Resort & SPA ****S. In addition to the hotel business, Walter and Helene Pichler turned an alpine hut under the Latemar into today’s Ganischgeralm in the heart of the skiing and hiking area Obereggen – Latemar back in the early 70s.
Together with their four sons, the company grew steadily and in 2006 another establishment, the Baita Gardonè, was acquired and integrated into the company. In 2011, Ganischger Ltd. grew once again. The Platzl in Obereggen was leased as a further branch of the company and integrated into the overall concept. The latest expansion was the newly built LOOX – The Alpine Club in Obereggen, which became part of the Ganis world in November 2019. Many years of experience, our passion for the hospitality industry, our local roots and our sense of responsibility towards our guests, our employees and our environment are the basis for our ambitious company.
With 125 employees, our business is one of the biggest employers in the Eggental Valley and our actions are firmly characterised by long-term values that always focus on our guests. The Ganis values of connoisseurship, familiarity, surprise, love of detail, attentiveness and leading are tangibly lived out in the whole company.
