In the heart of the Dolomites, in the quaint Eggental, surrounded by Catinaccio / Rosengarten and Latemar, once upon a time, lived the „Ganis“, known far and wide for their warm hospitality.
The „Ganis“ created a comfortable kingdom in one of the most beautiful places, surrounded by meadows and peace, where they had the chance to cuddle their guests and to surprise them every day. And, because the Ganis were a lively and popular company, fun-loving and never bored, they found several “secret places” where to take their guests to offer them great music and plenty of entertainment.
People came from miles around to spend funny and relaxing moments with the „Ganis“.
One day a stranger arrived in Eggental. He had already travelled half the world, but until then, he never found what he was looking for: the perfect combination between variety and peace, luxury and nature, pleasure and simplicity. Restless he walked on the shores of Carezza Lake, where, suddenly a fairy appeared from the turquoise waves of the lake. Shaking her head, she looked at him and talked to him in a crystal clear voice:
„Live what you love, create your space,
for your dreams, enjoy every moment,
with all the senses, only as you like it …“
The stranger was first taken aback, but then he realized that this was the key to his goal. And suddenly he felt arrived and ready to fully enjoy his life.

Bike passionates, pay attention: the recipe from “Mike & Friends” contains only the finest ingredients. Fine wine, perfect grilled steaks, perfect cappuccino, a dream hotel, top-quality food. Garnished with dreamy trails on the Dolomites. This recipe is exclusive and tastes great to all mountain bike enthusiasts, men and women. Limits have also shifted in the culinary field. For Matthias, for example: “I have never eaten so well for a week!” On the one hand, this is due to the chef from Ganischgerhof, who gets ready for the bang on the first day. “Good meat, thickly sliced, really needs a hit, preferably from the charcoal grill. Sear for a few minutes on each side, then let it simmer at 80 degrees until the core temperature is 55 degrees. ”This is how Dennis describes what he serves: perfectly grilled T-bone steaks. Sounds exhausting? No! Because “Mike & Friends” not only encourages people to participate, but also simply to enjoy. In the Girlan winery, for example, where the best South Tyrolean wines are made. Cellar master Gerhard Kofler trains the “Mike & Friends” participants to become wine connoisseurs during a gourmet menu. Klaus Pichler, hotel manager of the Ganischgerhof, trained sommelier, deepens this knowledge during dinner in his hotel. But that’s not all. The living workshop legend Haider Knall shows the participants how they sit correctly on the bike, how they adjust the suspension, fix breakdowns themselves, what everything has to be packed on the tour and what is important before the evening beer on the terrace with a view of the Dolomites: ” Anyone who only spends a few minutes looking after their bike after the tour has more fun, more puncture resistance and increases the durability of the material. ”
