„Live what you love and only as you like it“
In the heart of the Dolomites, in the quaint Eggental, surrounded by Catinaccio / Rosengarten and Latemar, once upon a time, lived the „Ganis“, known far and wide for their warm hospitality.
The „Ganis“ created a comfortable kingdom in one of the most beautiful places, surrounded by meadows and peace, where they had the chance to cuddle their guests and to surprise them every day. And, because the Ganis were a lively and popular company, fun-loving and never bored, they found several “secret places” where to take their guests to offer them great music and plenty of entertainment.
People came from miles around to spend funny and relaxing moments with the „Ganis“.
One day a stranger arrived in Eggental. He had already travelled half the world, but until then, he never found what he was looking for: the perfect combination between variety and peace, luxury and nature, pleasure and simplicity. Restless he walked on the shores of Carezza Lake, where, suddenly a fairy appeared from the turquoise waves of the lake. Shaking her head, she looked at him and talked to him in a crystal clear voice:
„Live what you love, create your space,
for your dreams, enjoy every moment,
with all the senses, only as you like it …“
The stranger was first taken aback, but then he realized that this was the key to his goal. And suddenly he felt arrived and ready to fully enjoy his life.
Welcome at Ganis Ganischgerhof Mountain Resort & SPA
The Sellaronda with Walter is something different! You can easily see his passion for skiing as soon as you watch Senior Chef Walter once a week when he takes the Guests of Ganischgerhof to the Sellaronda – the tour around the amazing Dolomites.
Let’s start with the skis on, through the most beautiful passes, the most varied slopes and all this, obviously, with a breathtaking view.
Every day Walter, put his skis on to go to work, and goes from Obereggen to the Gaischeralm, but, once a week, he put his experience at the guest disposal to have fun on the Sellaronda.
Walter has some tricks ready for the tour of today, but first of all he starts the day with a delicious breakfast at Ganischgerhof. After breakfast, he get behind the wheel of the Private Guest Shuttle and drives the Guests, through the Passo Costalunga, to Campitello of Fassa: the ideal starting point for the Sellaronda. Today Walter has decided make the “counter-clockwise tour”. That means: from Campitello to Arabba, then Badia Valley, Gardena Valley and back in Fassa Valley. “The abundant snowfall of the last week end (in some places more than 60 cm) makes the today tour even more special than ever” says an excited Walter.
Slopes with powder snow and white dressed mountains as far as the eye can see. Walter has already chosen where to make some stops, to make the tour around the Dolomites even more unique. He has everything under control, from coffee breaks to the lunch break, so the group can fully enjoy the day without worrying about anything.
Walter takes the group through the classic slopes, but he makes also some detours to enjoy some of the most beautiful and unmissable slopes: that makes the tour of today even more special and funny than the classic one.
The last slopes take the group back to Fassa Valley, where there is the Private Guest Shuttle ready to take them back in Ganischgerhof. Once in hotel all together in the Bar to enjoy a cold beer and a chat about the spectacular day of today. For some of them it was the first time with Walter in the Sellaronda, for some others it wasn’t. But what it certain is that the next time they will all be there when Walter invites them for a new tour around the Sella Mountain.
That could be interesting for you!
